Recently I have been thinking about marriage and what contributes to longevity in relationships. Though there are many reasons, I have concluded that one thing which is incredibly important is appreciation. It seems that conflict increases between people when they begin to slack in appreciation for the other. Which led me to the thought of how much I appreciate Wesley. He is absolutely trustworthy. He tells me all the time how much I mean to him and that he thinks I am a great mom. I am infinitely more confident because of his influence in my life. Among many, many reasons why I respect him, I am en-heartened and inspired by how he continues to pursue, without ever losing the boys' and my amelioration, not a quick and easy path, but a way that develops his God-given abilities and skills into something more mature for the glory of God. I have no doubt in my mind of what beauty the Lord will bring (and is bringing) about through my husbands noble pursuits. Happy birthday, love. You are the best.
